The Equipment Service Technician is responsible for ensuring our operating solutions such as the ORCA Card in Seattle are reliable and supported through positive customer service interactions, as well as a solid understanding of how our devices and back-end systems operate.
Numerous customers (transit agencies) and hundreds of thousands of their customers (transit riders) rely on Vix Technologies systems to get to their destination using transit. The primary function of the Field Service Technician is to assist with all equipment related tasks and incidents. While performing this function the key duties associated will include device commissioning, device installations, device repairs, processing documentation, shipping, receiving, inventory management, and maintaining all workshop equipment.
