If this has caught your attention, read on…

Our software engineering team is expanding and we are looking for a new addition to the team, working on a fixed term of 6 months.

The product you will be working on is Vix Whisper, one of the most interesting and exciting products in our portfolio!  This is our cloud payment system that allows people to use their mobile phones, credit cards and options such as Apple Pay and Google Pay to pay for their transit tickets.  We are leading the way with this technology, so we need talented people to join our team.

You will be part of our Vault team who are responsible for working on the heart of the Whisper solution.  This is our secure middle office where the interface between customer, credit cards and financial acquirers takes place.  You will be working on systems that securely handle highly sensitive financial data.

We are looking for an enthusiastic programmer who is able to work autonomously and drive design within the team.  At Vix we use a number of programming languages including C/C++, Java and TypeScript so if you are fluent in one or more of these languages then we’d love to hear from you.

If you have banking or automated fare collection system experience, that would be great, but it’s not essential.  Likewise it would be good if you had experience of AWS or other cloud native systems.

If this sounds like your next challenge, please send us your CV and your cover letter.  We look forward to hearing from you!
