The Solutions Manager is responsible for matching customer requirements to Vix products and product plans, and identifying substantial gaps. Throughout the presales and sales processes the Solutions Specialist will work with Account Management and Sales to provide the technical expertise required to package innovative solutions for customer business needs based on the suite of Vix hardware and software products, and to shape customer requirements to better align with the Vix offerings.
The Solutions Manager will work closely with the Product Management team to understand the current and future capabilities of the Vix suite of hardware and software products. The Solution Specialist will work with solutions architects and development managers to ensure that proposed solutions can be delivered within Vix solution architecture. Another key aspect of the role is to feed identified product gaps and opportunities into the product planning process.
The Solutions Manager will require a person with the ability to maintain multiple active customer engagements concurrently and sustain a positive working relationship with the customers.
The Solution Specialist will take a leading role in the preparation of the solution element of customer proposals and bid responses. This includes gap analysis against customer requirements and the writing of the solution description to maximise the opportunity for Vix solutions.
Ultimately the goal is to enable the business to provide our customers with industry leading solutions that satisfy their business needs in transit fare collection and payment. Doing this, while ensuring a very strong revenue and profit stream for the business.
