  • Have you got a background in both manual and automated testing?
  • Are you interested in how software devices work?
  • Are you interested in working for a company where the product is used on a daily basis by millions of people worldwide?

Can you imagine how it would feel to be responsible for ensuring that our key products works well in all conditions?  Would you like to work for a global technology company with colleagues working on both physical devices and software that works in the cloud?  Are you interested in working in a Global Centre of Excellence and to be in an environment where you can see the effect and end result of the work you do?

Vix has been a global leader in automated fare collection technology for over 25 years.  Our devices team build all of our customer-facing devices. These include transit station gates, platform ticketing and the hand-held devices used by Inspectors.  It’s interesting work as our devices must work in all conditions.

You will be part of a small, highly talented Agile software development team and will be responsible for both manual and automated testing as we move towards complete automation.  You will be creating scenarios and executing tests to identify issues with our software.  Duties include identifying and analysing any issues encountered during the test phase and documenting them for review. Other tasks include developing and running new tests, reporting on the results, and collaborating with software developers to fix program issues.

Our office environment is great.  We have a very active social group who arrange monthly get togethers.  We have free fruit daily, so we are all super healthy and the environment is one which encourages collaboration.

If you would like to join us, apply online and tell us a bit more about yourself and your background.  We look forward to hearing from you!
